Now that Borderlands: Handsome Edition is out on both consoles, we have to wait and see how the new game will play out.
It seems the game is a bit more streamlined than the original Borderlands, but that’s just me complaining.
I played Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: Special Delivery, so it’s not too much of a stretch to think that it’ll have a few new twists on things like loot drops, new abilities, and the like.
Borderlands: 2 is a big improvement over its predecessor, but the difference is mostly in the way the story is told.
The game doesn’t have any branching paths and there are no quests that force you to find and kill enemies or collect loot.
The story mode is pretty simple, with a bunch of side missions and a bunch more side quests.
It’s definitely not a game that demands a lot of player interaction, but I think you’ll appreciate the changes if you’re just looking to play a bit of Borderlands 2.
Borderlands 2 is $19.99 on Xbox One, $19
