JERREY BRIANS HARDEST YEARS HE’S EVER BEEN ON TOUR?
The only thing better than getting the best of a bad situation is the opposite.
It’s hard not to be impressed by the energy of the fans when the Warriors take the court for the first time since April 15.
The players are still in great shape, the uniforms are in great condition and the atmosphere is great.
The team is a lot closer to being able to take the next step and win a title than it was a year ago, but that’s not the point.
They’re still young and full of promise, and there are a lot of positives for the Warriors to take from this season.
Let’s take a look at some of the positives.
Team chemistry: The Warriors have been building chemistry all year long.
That chemistry has come at a cost.
Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are the most talented players on the team, but they’re playing with a different style.
Green has been inconsistent in his play, which has helped the Warriors be one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA.
The only player better on the Warriors in that regard is Harrison Barnes, who was named to the All-Star team last year.
He was on the court in 39 percent of Golden State’s defensive possessions last year, the fifth-highest mark in the league.
The Warriors also struggled to get stops against the pick-and-roll.
The pick-n-roll was the team’s most efficient offensive weapon, with the Warriors allowing just 27.4 percent of their offensive possessions to be spent in that area.
The ball was moving the Warriors’ way and the opposition was getting caught off-guard.
This year, Barnes and Green are playing together more and it’s resulted in more shots being taken and more easy buckets being made.
This is the second straight year Barnes has been a leader on the defensive end, and he’ll get the chance to lead this unit again this season as he has in his first three years in the Warriors locker room.
There’s no question the team has been able to build chemistry.
Curry, Bogut, Thompson, Green and Durant have all been a part of winning seasons for the franchise.
They’ve all been in their prime at this point in their careers, so they can all learn a lot from each other.
And it’s all happening in the midst of a brutal schedule, which is something the Warriors don’t have to worry about this season considering their home schedule is already pretty good.
Players are getting healthier: All-Stars aren’t the only players to make their presence felt this season, but none of them have had a better season than Harrison Barnes.
Barnes played the majority of the season on the injured list, but he was on track to return to the lineup this season and the Warriors were able to get him healthy for games against the Spurs, Mavericks and Thunder.
The biggest reason for that was his presence as a reserve.
Barnes has played nearly two full seasons in the big leagues, and this season he’s gotten much more time on the floor as he’s matured.
Barnes can guard multiple positions, and with Draymonds Green, Harrison Barnes and Draye Reid back in the lineup, the Warriors have a big backcourt.
There will be more scoring for the defense this season: There’s a lot to like about this team’s defensive approach.
It looks like they’ve really turned things around.
The best part is that they’re still playing with one of their best defensive players, Kevin Durant, and a superstar in Curry.
It doesn’t matter what position the Warriors play, they can still win when the ball is in their hands.
This season, they have a lot more weapons to use offensively and they’re all able to play at a high level.
This team has a lot going for it, and it just takes time to build a championship team.
The last thing I’d like to point out is that I don’t expect this team to win the title this season — I just want them to win in the first round.
I think it’ll take a little bit of time for them to get back to where they were last year — that is, a Finals appearance.
That’s a big step, but it’ll happen.
I don,t think there’s anything I can say about this year that hasn’t been said about every other year.
We know how hard this team has worked and we know how good of a team they are.
But it will take time, especially for the second- and third-year players, and the coaches, and for the front office to make this happen.
The road ahead: The playoffs are a long way off, but this team isn’t done.
They have a ton of talent and are a legitimate threat to make it to the Finals this season if they can do it
