Indian retailer Tobacco Superstore sells cigarettes and tobacco for tobacco store, with the aim of attracting a wider range of customers and improving customer satisfaction.
The shop, located in Kollam district in south-west Mumbai, has a wide range of tobacco products available including tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes and accessories, among others.
The tobacco store has a range of brands including Big Tobacco, Mango Tobacco, Naxal Tobacco, Tobacco Tobacco Express and Tobacco, which are all owned by tobacco giant Anil Ambani’s Reliance Industries.
Tobacco Superstore also offers free samples of its products, and also offers a free one-day trial for customers to try the new products.
Towards a wider customer baseThe shop also has a specialised section on the internet where customers can find out more about tobacco products.
“We want to attract a wider selection of customers,” a TSS spokesperson told Reuters.
“A lot of our customers are smokers.
We are not just interested in smokers, we want people who are not smokers.
Tobacco is a big industry in India.
We want to cater to all of our consumers, who are smokers.”
The shop has two other tobacco outlets in Mumbai and Gurgaon.
The first is an e-cigarette store, which sells only tobacco products, while the second is a tobacco-related business that sells tobacco accessories.
The second outlet was set up by an Anil and his brother Anil Bandhan.
“The business is set up to cater mainly to the customers who are trying to quit smoking,” a spokesperson from the company told Reuters in an email.
Tossing out tobacco productsThe shop sells tobacco products such as chewing tobacco, tobacco gum, ejuice and e-cig pens.
“For us, the goal is to offer a wide selection of products for the customers.
Our aim is to cater both to smokers and non-smokers,” said the TSS representative.
The company has already received a number of orders for the tobacco products from tobacco retail stores across India.
The tobacco shop has also partnered with a local tobacco company, to offer free samples.
“I am confident that we will attract a larger variety of customers in the near future.
Our business is a direct reflection of our desire to be more open and transparent in our business, and we are working towards being more transparent in the future,” said a Tss spokesperson.
